Despite the garden being full of life and greenery from bordering plants, it is quite low maintenance with a large, decked area and a small section of lawn. The fences are adorned with climbing plants including clematis and honeysuckle and there are some beautiful purple azaleas. There is a large workshop which has a front and rear section and motor enthusiasts will be interested to hear that there is an inspection pit that could be used if the workshop were returned into garage use.
LOCATION:
Chartham Hatch is a small hamlet situated on the outskirts of Canterbury, surrounded by beautiful countryside. It has a wonderful community and at the heart of it, lies the fantastic village hall which hosts regular activities and clubs, from arts and craft classes to quiz and bingo evenings. The nearby village of Chartham has a range of local amenities including several convenience stores, two doctor's surgeries, post office, pubs and a primary school. Chartham also has a mainline train station, which is one stop from Canterbury West Station, where you can catch the high-speed service to London. You also have easy access onto the A2/M2.
The area is popular with walkers due to the number of fantastic walking trails around. There is a beautiful walk from your front door, which takes you through orchards and to Tonford Lane. The nearby Bigberry Farm offers a small livery yard, and the nearby countryside is perfect for a peaceful hack.
